2025 National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend
The annual National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend will be held in the Village of Cooperstown from Friday, July 25th, through Monday, July 28th. The Induction Ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 27th, on the grounds outside the Clark Sports Center, located on Susquehanna Avenue.
Motorists should expect delays and heavy traffic along Route 28 from I-88 (Exit 17) into the Village of Cooperstown. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution while traveling along Route 28 and the local streets within Cooperstown due to expected heavy pedestrian traffic. Peak traffic flows and delays are anticipated on Sunday prior to and at the conclusion of the Induction Ceremony. Parking is available in designated event areas.
It is expected that heavier than normal traffic will occur along I-88, Routes 80, 7, and 23, and US Route 20 during this event due to attendees utilizing the hotels and restaurants in the area.

As of April 21, 2025, all oversized vehicles will no longer be able to enter Canada (circulate northbound) through the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle (Highway 15) Port of Entry due to ongoing construction. Alternative POE: Lacolle Route 221

This program is a free data exchange between Waze and government entities and private road owners and operators. Waze is the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app. Waze gathers crowdsourced real-time traffic data and road information from its users. Waze incidents data identified by the Waze app are now available to view on 511NY. This information is provided in addition to official information reported by NYDOT to better help people plan their travel in New York.
