2026 Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally weekend.

The annual Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally will take place in the Binghamton area starting Friday afternoon, August 7^th through Sunday, August 9^th.  The festival will take place on the grounds of Otsiningo Park, located along Interstate 81 and the Chenango River. 
Interstate 81 northbound between the Exit 13 B on-ramp and the I-81/I-88 eastbound connector will be reduced from three lanes to two for this event. 
Motorists should expect delays in the vicinity of the park, Exit 13 B interchange, Bevier Street (CR 145), and US Route 11 (Front Street) between Prospect Street and the SUNY Broome Campus. 
Motorists are also reminded that “no stopping” or “parking” will be allowed along the shoulders of I-81 or I-88. 
No public parking will be available along US Route 11 (Front Street) or CR 145 (Bevier Street).  Parked vehicles within these areas will be towed.
 
Motorists are asked to use extreme caution while traveling throughout the area due to the expected heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic, especially each night at the conclusion of the evening concerts.
